AYMEN AIBLU

A doctoral researcher and educator. He is a PhD student of Architecture at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. Additionally, he serves as the General Coordinator for Athirat: Journal of Ancient Arabia, Research Operations Manager for NSERC Alliance: Heritage Engineering for Adaptive Transitions (HEAT) at Carleton Immersive Media Studio (CIMS), and as a member of the board of trustees representing Libya at the Institute for the History of Arabic-Islamic Sciences in Frankfurt. His research focuses on architectural heritage preservation, digital archiving, and the integration of artificial intelligence technologies. Aiblu has worked as an architect, graphic designer, and program coordinator, emphasizing advanced digital twins, Heritage Building Information Modeling (HBIM), and spatial analysis. He received a Master of Science degree in Islamic Art and Architecture from Hamad Bin Khalifa University and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Istanbul Okan University.
